- Add the greens & 1 cup water and pressure cook for 1 whistle and set aside.
- Heat oil. Splutter mustard seeds. Add hing, curry leaves, fenugreek seeds, ginger and green chilli. Saute.
- Now add the finely chopped tomatoes, sambar powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, tamarind pulp and salt.
- Cook till the oil separates.
- Add this to the cooked dal & greens mixture and cook on low flame for 5 mins.
