- after an hour add the last 2 bottles of beer, and the grated chocolate and keep cooking for at least 1 more hour, keep stirring it on and off
- now your ready to serve, don't shorten the cooking time, this needs to cook for at least 2-3hrs for best results,
- serve with sour cream, shredded cheese, green onions, corn chips what ever you like to top your chili off with
- if you do not want to use beer, apple juice can be substituted for the beer, it will only affect the taste slightly
- if you want to add beans, add a can of red kidney beans halfway through cooking, this way they will not over cook
