Steps to make Stuffed Capsicum:
- How to Make?. - 🌾FOR THE STUFFING: 🌺Boil 5-6 boiled potatoes. In a pan, add 1/2 tspn cumin, saute 2 medium sized diced onions. Add ginger garlic to the pan and fry till the raw smell is gone. Add the powdered spices: 1/2 tspn turmeric powder, 1 tspn coriander powder and garam masala to the pan.. - 🌺Now add the boiled potatoes, salt to taste(thoda extra) and fry it till the potatoes start leaving the sides. The stuffing is done!
- Roasted Capsicum : Empty the capsicum. Grease with some oil and bake at 180C for 25 mins. Char in the end for 3-4 minutes on gas to give that smokey essence
- FOR THE GRAVY: - 🌺 We made a plain yellow gravy- with the base of onion, ginger garlic and tomato paste. In the spices department, we added freshly roasted cumin, red chilli and coriander powder powder!(Freshly roasted powders ki baat hai kuch khaas)
- BAKING THE CAPSICUM. - 🌺Empty out the capsicums and fill in the stuffing. Grease the capsicum with oil and bake it in the over for 25 minutes at 180°C.. - 🌺In the end, we charred the capsicums on the stove to get the smoky flavour!. - 🥗🍲This goes really well with parathas and raita! But remember just one medium sized nicely stuffed capsicum will be enough for a person. So be mindful of the quantity you make. Afterall no food wastage!!
