  1. Wash and cut beans and potatoes.
  2. Heat mustard oil on a kadahi.
  3. Add chopped beans and potatoes.
  4. Fry them till raw smell goes and beans become soft.
  5. Remove beans from oil and add more oil in kadahi.
  6. Crackle fenugreek seeds and then add onion garlic paste.
  7. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.
  8. Mix all well and cook on high flame till oil starts separate.
  9. Add fried beans+potatoes and mix well.
  10. Cook for sometimes and add water.
  11. Cook on low flame till beans and potatoes done.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice.

As Lima beans are firm in texture hence requires proper cooking time, to overcome this step. Finally add the cooked potatoes and steamed green beans into the sabzi masala, sprinkle salt and give it a stir.
