- On a med-high heat, add in your ground beef, onion, mushrooms, poblano, seasoning salt, chili, and cayenne.
- Sauté until the beef is cooked and the mushrooms wilt a little.
- Stir in your garlic and cook for 1 min.
- Add 2 cups of water (or beer of choice), tomato sauce, beans, and brown sugar. PS, beer adds a nice depth of flavor! Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to med-low and simmer for at least 30mins. I like to let mine simmer uncovered to thicken the consistency. Stir occasionally.
- Bring this to your next game day get together with sour cream, green onions, cheddar cheese and Fritos. Enjoy!
